Aicha Dia of Montreal, QC has signed her Letter of Intent to attend Penn State University.
Dia, who currently attends Dawson College which is also in Montreal, has the length to go along with the ability to shoot from long range. She is not a stranger to grabbing the rebound and turning up the court to start the break. Whether using her quickness with the ball in the open court or slashing from the perimeter Dia is always a threat to make something positive happen, whether going for herself or setting up teammates for great things.
Prior to committing to the Nittany Lions who play in the Big 10 and who are located in the central Pennsylvania area, Dia spent this past summer playing for Toronto-based Become One where she really made an impact on the Under Armour Circuit.
When Dia was considering her choice of schools, Dia had identified her shortlist to also include Rutgers, East Carolina, St John’s, and Memphis.
